Philosophy
Brooksyde is owned and operated by Dillon Cabe and Henry Tittmann of East Montpelier, VT. As homeowners, builders, and fathers we understand the constant maintenance and fixing up that single family homes in Vermont require, and the logistics that come along with that. The goal behind Brooksyde is to provide a service for homeowners and help them with any kind of project their home might throw at them. Whether it’s a small cabinet that makes a big difference, or a full scale renovation, we can work within the unique context of your life and home and make it happen. Let us help you make your home to-do list disappear.
Our Team
Co-OwnerChief Operations Officer
Dillon Cabe
Since a young age Dillon has been taking things apart and tinkering with anything he can get his hands on. This passion for how things work led him to working on cars and dreaming of running his own business. After going to business school Dillon worked production and manufacturing for multiple different businesses including designing a production line to manufacture COVID-19 tests. Dillon spent 5 years building custom houses before starting Brooksyde. With his diverse background he brings unique problem solving skills to every job. Where others falter Dillon is just getting started.
Co-OwnerChief Design Officer
Henry Tittmann
Henry has been in love with houses since seeing his own house built at the age of 4. Since then nothing has held is interest like a set of plans and a scale model of a house. After high school Henry worked for builders and architects before getting his own architecture degree in downtown Boston. Henry’s experience with every part of the design and build process of a house led him to Yestermorrow design build school in Vermont, where he co-taught a tiny home building class. With an appreciation for smaller spaces and functional design Henry brings playfulness, creativity, and practicality to solving design problems. Where others see a blank space Henry sees a million opportunities.
